Early Spring issue of the Paddler magazine

Post by ThePaddler » Sat Mar 03, 2018 5:29 pm

Spring is here (or maybe not!). However, the brand spanking new Early Spring issue of the Paddler magazine certainly is alive and kicking featuring WW and sea kayaking, canoeing, SUP, across oceans, rivers and lakes.

The content, so far as I can tell, looks brilliant. But I don't understand why an ezine should be so difficult to read on a normal PC screen. I'd expect an ezine to use dynamic html so that it's readable on all e-devices, but it's laid out like a print magazine. If you zoom in to read the text, there's no way to turn the pages, and you have to zoom back out to see the photos. Maybe I'm doing it wrong. Can anyone explain?

Thanks - you're right, the pdf does work better, but I'm still puzzled by the original format.

Digital page-flip style magazines held on Joomag and Issue, etc, are not to everyone's taste, so we've developed a desktop and mobile friendly html5 version of the Paddler magazine that you can read without the repeated zooming in and out. The site covers the first two issues of 2018, check it out at: http://paddlerezine.com
