Looking for open minded white water specialist to review new inflatable WW kayak

Post by ZelGearUK » Sun Jun 11, 2017 7:08 pm

Hello

We are looking for open minded WW kayak specialists willing to give an honest review of our ZelGear ONE inflatable WW kayak. Ideally, initially, folks who are located within the southern part of England - we are based in Reading, Berks.

Suitable for paddlers up to 90kg, this lightweight kayak (12kg) fits into a small rucksack which makes it an very easy boat to transport and store.

It has a stiff AirBoard dropstitch self draining floor so the kayak is by no means a soft floppy boat - it can go up to Grade 4. There are footwells and thigh straps to assist with bracing etc and the kayak is rollable.

There is an expedition variant coming soon which has air and water tight intergrated inflatable compartments in the bow and stern (standard version just has sealed inflatable 'buoyancy' bags). These storage bags are fitted with TZips and allows a fair amount of decent kit to be stored safely and be easily accessible. IE kayak can be used as a safety boat of sorts for rescue situations or be used like a packboat for longer WW paddles (overnight trips) for minimalist campers. The performance of either kayak is identical.

Photos of the ZelGear ONE can be seen here - http://zelgear.co.uk/inflatable_kayaks_ ... hotos.html

Are there any more out there who would like to discover this amazing kayak and write about it? Users at try-outs have all commented favourably on how good the boat is and had great fun using it.
