Redcar newbe looking for help

hello everyone might be a bit early in the year for this but here go,s .Im just getting into this kayak fishing got myself a ten foot sit on top what im after is a bit of hand holding my first time out someone local to show me the rope,s .Im from sunny redcar so if your local and can help give me a shout on here .......thanks Richard

Took the kayak out to sea for the first time on sat been on lakes a couple of times before to get a feel for it.Launched ok paddled hard into the waves and got myself threw them.Didnt take any fishing kit with me this time just had a padddle towards saltburn and back.Trying to get back onto the beach was the fun part the boat just kept turning side on to the waves. Tried it a couple of times and just couldnt workout if i should be leaning back or forward paddleing hard or just letting the boat do the work .Advice anyone the kayak is a 10 foot galaxy sot.
