Newark Weir been running this week (video)

As we have been having a bit of rain this week then Newark weir (near Nottingham) had been running on and off.

Here is a chilled out video at a very good level.
Video was taken at 2.1 on the Colwick gauge on the Trent.

Nice vid, I was down newark a few weeks ago and it was pretty intense, the wave had closed off pretty much to a straight line, and was a pain to get out of the right way up. Here is a video that may or may not work, and also has my first time surfing a river wave (for a whole 7 seconds )
