Scotland with Cardiff Uni

Post by StuS » Fri Apr 13, 2012 10:46 am

I've put together a video of a trip to Scotland just before Easter with Cardiff Uni Kayakers. Levels were low but we still had a really good time...

Hope you like it.

Etive looks lower than when we did it at Easter! Bristol were about too, shame you came so far for so little water. We had a super scrappy bash then climbed Ben Nevis and did some races and swimming in the tribs...

Wow, and we thought that we paddled the Etive on the low side of low!
Here's a video of how Southampton got on, looks like we went up a week or two before you guys and had a little bit more water:

Such great chat, quite alright levels too! The bogs near the Allt a'Chaorrain are bad even when it's been dry!

After seeing the levels for everyone else it looks like we did have relatively good levels. We had a dump of rain midway through our stay so that kept things runnable, albeit low. We did resort to climbing Ben Nevis by the end of the week mind you!
