It's been a tough few days for paddlers. My thoughts are with everyone involved.

Here is to a safe remainder of 2012.

Our friend Steve Wall....A good friend and club mate of Dave Smith, who tragically lost his life on the Fowey on New Years Day… both members of the Wyre Forest Canoe Club…,Lost his life on the Teme on the 2nd of Jan 2012…

Steve will be fondly remembered by all those who knew him. His enthusiasm for kayaking and life in general brightened every room he entered…He will be missed dearly...

Our thoughts are with his Family at this terrible time,

Steve

Steve was a great guy to know and paddle with. He always greeted you with a welcoming smile and a twinkle in his eye! He always had something to talk about whether it was work or kayaking.

Steve you will be sorely missed by many and you will never be forgotten RIP

Constantly thinking of your family.
