Just conversation?

Post by p.r.unicycles » Wed Nov 02, 2011 1:11 pm

If you take a look to the left you'll see my username contains the word unicycles, this is before i took kayaking seriously, i was a very good unicyclist, specialising in trials unicycling. real thing. the unicycling world also has a forum, http://www.unicyclist.com - if you visit you'll notice that they have a forum entitled "just conversation" this is where we post about things that don't really fit into any category, or fit in every category. relevant to the topic of unicycling or not. i thought maybe it'd be a good idea for that idea to be used here at UKRGB?
please don't accuse me of anything, i'm just pointing out a possible idea to make the forum better.
does anybody else agree?

you can find more info on extreme unicycling by searching youtube or visiting http://www.unicycle.uk.com

He's always very happy to give his opinion of the idea... :-)

I seem to remember him saying no to this idea a few years ago. He may (have) change(d) his mind if you ask him now.

Thankfully, someone invented Facebook, purely to save me from pouring withering derision on this suggestion.

A 20" Dodger. I'm sure it's not a great unicycle, but 50 squids seemed a reasonable amount to spend to find out if it was something I wanted to continue with... It's due to arrive tomorrow and already I find myself grinning like an idiot at the thought.

OK I appear to be posting about unicycles on a kayak forum.....
Anyway, I unicycle too.

Saint Matt, it is much harder than it looks at first. But don't give up. You will be amazed how you improve if you stick with it. Just got to get throught the first few days.

My posts keep disappearing...
Was it the capital letters rule?

Anyway, in short;
Thanks for the compliments on the video, its a shame about the music, maybe i should get a new one?

unicycling is much harder than it looks at first - you really need to work hard at sticking at, it'll pay off in the end, find a low fence or wall, like on a driveway, hold onto the wall while pedaling till you get to the end, then keep going (you'll probably have to work your way down the fence 30 times before you can pedal without the fence)
good luck with it!
