British Universities Kayak Expedition 2011: Venezuela Video

Post by joereadickins » Tue Oct 18, 2011 1:57 pm

OK so the lecture tour is nearly over so its time to start sharing our trip with the internet. Here is a short edit of all the stuff we got up to, from the boulder gardens of the Andes, the biiiiig volume of the Orinoco, the steep rivers of the Gran Sabana and the beautiful Caribbean surf.

The full edit will be online in a few weeks when we've finished up with the lecture tour.

We've now compiled river notes and loaded them to the website (www.kayakvenezuela.co.uk) so if anyone is inspired by the trip take a peek or feel free to get in touch with any of us.

Big thanks to our sponsors for helping us along with the trip, Pyranha Kayaks, BlissStickUK, CanoeKayak Store (Outdoor Active), The British Canoe Union, Alpkit, DD Hammocks, Cotsworld Outdoor and a special mention to individuals that helped us along the way, namely Tim Burne, Roque Duarte and Alejandero Buzzo

So yeah, don't forget to watch in HD, and enjoy:

Joe and the rest of the team.
