Dart loop

Post by sshearing228 » Sun Sep 18, 2011 9:52 pm

We as a canoe club (Adur) are doing a little trip down to the dart loop for a bit of 3*ww training. I have been asked to help with accomodation and was just wondering if any of you guys could recommend any down in that area and why would you recommend it? Whats good and whats not! I prob favour bunk house style acommodation for the budget and there will prob only be about 7 of us or so. Personally id rather pay that little extra and hire the whole bunk house(assuming we are in one) but having said that im am definately open to ideas of b and b's and hostels etc.I would like to stay near Holne but if you know of somewhere thats worth the travel then im all ears. Food options would be a great bonus together with eve pub meal nearby and a nice bit of scenery! A bit optimistic? Again im all ears thanks, Steve

Fox Tor Cafe in Princetown.

Bunkhouse takes 12, so exclusive use should not be too expensive for your 7.
Breakfast available in the cafe, and evening meals at 2 pubs within a few hundred yards ( no driving to pub).
Central location, good for Dart, Walkham, Tavy etc.

If you search on here for 'Dart bunkhouses' etc you should find all the information you need.
