Info request : Dry Suit repairs in NE England

Post by mikeybaby » Tue May 25, 2010 7:30 am

Hello,

ripped the latex cuff on the dry suit at the weekend. I know of Rubber man in wales and Aqualand in leeds, but does anyone know of any North East England repairs. Hoping to cut down repair time by avoiding postage.

Thanks

Michael

Michael,

Any decent dive shop should be able to do this repair for you.

Hi ,

There is a dive shop in Stockton on Oxbridge lane I bought my Multisport dry suit from them.Am sure they would be able to replace your cuff.

Cheers

Paul

I know that they're nowhere near you, but DamX usually do a blisteringly fast turnaround on repairs. Sent my cag to them on Monday last week and had it back by Thursday midday.

Might be worth ringing them first though as they do say that non-DamX kit can take a bit longer to repair...

I'll second Trident since you are in Newcastle. There are probably dive shops in the Toon that will do it, I'm not sure about Storrar's on the coast road.
Trident make their own suits, do repairs and even sell repair kits with simple to follow instructions should you want to tackle it yourself.

Hey there,

We are based just outside Leeds and have a diving section to the shop including our own manufacturing department. Latex cuff repair is usually £16.

Give us a call on 01924 444888 if this would solve your problem!

Thanks

George
