My father-in-law (78) who has never climbed in his life, found the cheapest way for him to insure himself for a long haul trip last year was to join the BMC.

I DO remember Bob at the Barrage! What a lovely and very remarkable man! Who could forget him??? Totally admire him - when's he free for coaching? ;-)

Hope he gets this sorted and if I hear of anything will let you know. What activity or assuming it IS boating, river, is he off doing now that's sickeningly ridiculous for a man of his age? ;-)

Hope the Grumpy family are all well and hope to see you again some time soon!

Jax
