I've,

Learned to:
  • Cartwheel (In the hole)
Loop (not got that straight thing down though)
    Roundhouse
    Bow Stall
    Air Blunt
    Back Roundhouse
    Ollie
    Air Screw
    Kickflip
    Hammer
I've nearly made it through my raft guide training to a level where I could feasibly pass my assesment, although then leaving the country for two months has probably put me back a little.

I've paddled in the alps, and supposedly run my first Grade 5 (I'm not so sure it deserved the grade at anything less than epic high water) along with watching my friend get heli-evaced from the ubaye, paddling an unknown river at a honky tonk ragtime level with relative beginners and walking out and other such hilarity.

I've paddled in uganda and run the biggest white water I've seen, and head dried it first time..... then later swam in a fit of cockyness, and paddled into an evil eddyzone without a deck or straps and swam some more...

I even found time to do the odd bit of work, and thus survived the first year of my degree.

Ditch the plank dude, buy some fat twin tips ;o)
You know you love us boarders really. Although i was watching some freestyle skiers at mayrhofen in the vans park. They were insane. Doing like tweaked 720 backflips! But then you go to the rails and see us boarders doing 270 to boardslide 270 out's and think nahhh... Boarding all the way.

I agree, Mayrhofen is an insane resort! I love it.

Biketrail Schwanden-Brienz detailshere, so after 160 days on the river, some biking instead of watching at Thun will be ace.

Yes in my C1, A mixture of Nile Special, Holme Pierpoint, and Stanley Embankment, and unfortunately no video footage.
To say I had mastered most of those would be the wrong word... I can do all of the above sometimes, and with constant practice, but certainly not reliably enought to actually work into a routine or even make myself look good.

Paddled in Scotland (Will return next year)
Was warm enough to paddle some good surf without freezing my bits off.
Lost 2 stone of lard so can buy a smaller boat.

This year I have not........ Learned to put pics on here.

Paddled not nearly enough.
Didn't go to Italy.
Not going to Canada either.

Bad year so far. :-(
Bright side: Cornwall after the kids are back in school and still 4 1/2 months left.

Yea its not easy, I find if you pull the paddle blade over a bit so that the blade is closer to your body and your T-grip way over it helps. I am still getting it skewed a fair bit of the time too though. :-(

I thought you might like that.

On Saturday I get my new beauty, and will head to Thun on Sunday with Satu, we'll arrive on Tuesday though, as there is too much else to do along the way, like cycling down every pass we drive over!!!!

Went boating on the River Trent, way upstream of Nottingham where it flows as a fresh tumbling river and you can see clear through it. :-)
