Girl in the green boat!!!

Post by mattrail » Fri Apr 03, 2009 8:54 pm

Was paddling on the tryweryn as part of my white water safety and rescue course in green open boat and yellow drysuit, when a very pretty blondish girl with a lovely accent in a green boat, possibly parhana burn style, helmet was metalic reddy pink with grey waves, droppen in to the eddy and bumped into me and if i did not know better started to chat me up, which was nice. Last seen paddling the top section just above "The Chipper" all this i think was the 7th March when the dam was releasing, if this is you and you fancy some more paddling or dinner please drop me a line (hopefully with a picture of you in your boat as for recogniton purposes) and post something

Ha, is this inspired by Scott Mills on Radio 1?

He reads just this type of thing out - some of them are very funny. Maybe we should point him in this direction. Probably not the first UKRGB wedding but if it all works out we have an excuse to buy a new helmet!

There was a hot bird at the Dee a few weeks/month back, had a right cheeky grin. With a local Uni I think. I wasn't on form this day, so didn't go in for the kill!!! ;-)

I think that there should be a "dating" forum on here "looking for more than a paddle? clickety click"-could be what we're all missing and would help put and end to all these "what does your other half think of you paddling" and so on.;-)
dam the dart :)

Oh what the heck IT WAS ME in these troubled times you have to take every opportunity.

Would "the kill" consist of: "Now listen love...."

Just wondering why it took nearly four weeks to post this? Can't have been that impressed - it was me I'd have posted the next day.....

Just who was that blonde lady in a red open boat on the Lower Tryweryn on Saturday????
Canoeing - bigger boat, broken paddle, more skill!

I believe I know who you are talking about...

Lets confirm this...

Was she using green paddles? And wearing a Palm BA? And paddling a Large Z:one (which incidentally isn't her normal boat, she used it as a demo for the day).

If it is I have her phone number, and will trade it - what are you offering for this?

Mousey...

Ps she has also occassionally been spotted open boating!

Hi there,

IT WAS ME!!!!!

I was up on the Treweryn just near the Chipper when there was some ww rescue course on.

I have a green open boat, and my hair was blonde (but now it is bright pink).

I'm not keen on men (sorry) - and I already have a girlfriend.

I hope you find someone nice......

That looks like a Pyranha Prospector and would most likely fill the whole eddy.

Respect due if that made the descent down from the Chipper.....
