Oh that's a good one. Unfortunately I probably shouldn't guess it as I'm in the picture! Not the affric but can see where you are coming from. Water's too nice and blue to be UK!

Will answer for Murray... Yep it's Norway, bit of a classic section of it's area.

Re: Infinity Wezzit
i think banzer may have been close as it does sound a bit like Jura and it is the one with the canyon! It's in Obsommer and Klatt's guide

Time's up, it the Gråura Gorge section of the Driva near Oppdal! The closest guess in terms of distance is Banzer's guess of the Jori.

Re: Infinity Wezzit
Which excellent river is below this somewhat confused sign?
(Could this be the first photo in this topic that doesn't show a river...?)

Re: Infinity Wezzit
Looking at the image I was thinking the Lower Tees get out river left at Winston Bridge, but if its further north than the Sprint?
I don't think its the Gruinard either, I have run it three or four times and not seen these signs when there.
Is it the Lower Findhorn?
Peter

Re: Infinity Wezzit
It's the Gruinard. Excellent short run, very like the Aberglaslyn gorge in Wales. Well done Duncan.

Re: Infinity Wezzit
Haha, that was a lucky guess based off the fact that I know Banzer likes the far north, and the rock in the background looks a bit similar to the Gruinard's glen... Whereabouts is the sign?
Also here's one to try, wee POV shot for a change, extra points if you can name the rapid.
