Best place for Kayak Movie Premier?

Post by MrJazz »

So the MoP Premier will be on Saturday the 29th of November. I was thinking Leeds just because I like Leeds, there are plenty of party activities do do afterwards.

However I am no longer a student there and maybe it will be as hard to get my mates there to organise a suitable lecture theatre as it would anywhere else...

So... Where would be a good place? Would you consider travelling to Leeds for a kayak movie premier? Do you know any great places in Central England to host such a thing?

That date clashes with the SHAP International film fest. all the Cumbria boaters will be there. Check out www.rainchasers.com

I like Leeds too! Yeah, I know quite a lot of local paddlers who would come along, the trailer was excellent!

Cheers

MrJazz,

Contact Ned at Rainchasers, it might be that you could show your film at Shap with other people etc, and it would be another film for the line up there.

Max, I reckon I could sort something suitable in Manchester. give me a bell if that sounds like a plan.

Well the 28th, but yeah, you saw straight thru it. Seemed as good as any other day.

If it looks like the majority of attendees are from Leeds, I'll have it there.

If you hold it at Shap, you've got a guaranteed "base" attendence, plus anyone from Leeds (it's not that far away) :-)
