Anyone ever flown with these guys?

Thinking of paddling in India and this looks the cheapest flight option.

Are they kayak friendly?

They were with me and our group of 4 flying to New York about 4 years ago. I booked them onto the plane as surf equipment but not a surfboard through customer service when booking the tickets. This worked fine but we would not have got them on the flight back if we hadn't arranged it in advance.

No-one to zap at work today Ste?

Virgin should be the best of the choices, but not heard much about lufthansa. For £30 it's probably best just to bite the bullet and go with the company who can't easily refuse!
