Safe but no kit
Thanks to everyone involved last night.. I have learnt an important lesson.
If anyone comes across a Wavesport EZ with (demo - indented on the back of boat) and a set of paddles Robinson Reds, with stickers on the blades, along the river leading from Pont Cyfyng, near Capel Curig.
I would very much appreciate it, if everyone who finds these could call me on 07789815686
Thanks again to everyone last night...

Yeah, and when we got back from running the Upper Llugwy (to Brown Falls and Cobden Falls) we returned to said campsite to find our tents gone :( Thankfully the farmer had collected our tents and put them in his trailer when the site started filling.James F wrote:For the record, the LLugwy was MASSIVE on Saturday. The campsite near Capel Curig was underwater. The water was a few steps up on Miners Bridge.
Good to hear you're alright, we saw the emergency services rushing up the road, was thinking that must be someone in the river.
It was at get on for Forestry (wat I've been told), with the river up its more a case that your getting on in the middle of trees! Theres no eddies at that point of the river, just trees! Bloody things, if i wasn't an environmentalist I'd demand them all cut down!CptBorg wrote:Anyone care to mention where the tree was she was hanging from is/was? Was it a hazard in the flow. Perhaps it might prevent a recurrence.
