Patches/epoxy for crosslinked jackson?

Post by CharlieV453 »

Hi there, seen a few posts about for what to patch or fill a small split in a crosslinked jackson with but nothing conclusive. Anyone got anything that works for definite and isnt likely to split again if ends of split drilled out etc.?

Thanks

well interestingly i have a 2 fun with a pretty random split a bit forward of seat - i took various advice etc. i opted to use botch tape inside and out . 3 yers later split hasn't extended and its totally dry - replace the tape about once a year. the palstic is def v stiff so it seems not to deform enough to pull tape off....
pray for rain.....

Use clear No Nails from your local builders merchants, the stuff that dries under water and it will seal your splits rock solid.
