Anyone paddling?

Post by Kwantas »

Lakes or south scotland. I am desperate and there's rain! I have a car but no one to go with. I live in Carlisle.
Sorry but no one looks at the paddling partners forum.

When are you looking to go? I'm thinking of heading to the Minnoch/Cree area in Dumfrieshire this Sunday if you're interested? If I can find someone to share petrol with I could even be tempted to go tomorrow (Friday). I'm in Glasgow if anyone else out there is interested.

Really sorry Tim but I've just remembered that not only has my own paddle recently snapped, but the one I've been borrowing is at a mates house and he's working in Austria this week. I'll have to pass on this occasion, sorry mate.

We will be out somewhere this weekend - I'll let you know when it's sorted as to where we are going.
Keep pushing for fair access to all rivers (or better still, just go and paddle them!).

I'm around most times to paddle in the lakes as i currently live penrith way. Am still learning on WW though (just getting the hang of 4* stuff)....but if you can put up with that then drop me a pm and we can get out and about!! I work evenings so am around in the day most of the time.

Might be paddling the Greta (Keswick) Monday if anyone is about?
