Rainchasers contact for calibrations

Post by Joseph:) »

Does anyone know what the best contact email is for submitting calibrations to Rainchasers? I have tried emailing hello@rainchasers.com and the email bounced back.

Thanks!

I've pointed Rob (Mr Rainchasers) in the direction of this thread, so hopefully he'll have sorted the email issue.

I have access to update the calibrations though, so post your observations here, and if I can remember my log-in, I'll update it for you.

Thanks Poke. Two rivers I was hoping to add calibrations for, the first river is the Gwendraeth Fawr.
(http://rainchasers.com/river/gwendraeth ... ont-newydd) and I wanted to suggest that 0.8m on the pontyberem gauge
(https://rloi.naturalresources.wales/Vie ... ation=4123) be considered "low". 0.6 can be considered "empty".

The second river is the upper Clydach (http://rainchasers.com/river/upper-clyd ... pontardawe) I suggest that 0.8m
(https://rloi.naturalresources.wales/Vie ... ation=4119) is "medium".

Have added these. Should go live in a few hours when the website next polls the EA site for data. I've added in a high for the Gwendraeth, just so it's not sat permanently on "low" whenever it is up.

The Upper Clydach will show as empty till it reaches 0.8, after which it'll show as medium.

If you can work out any more of the calibrations for these (or other rivers) that would be ace!

Thanks!

@Poke - can you point Rob in the direction of this error message too please:

"Facebook has detected that rainchasers.com isn't using a secure connection to transfer information.
Until rainchasers.com updates its security settings, you won't be able to use Facebook to log in to it."

I guess that's why no-one has left a comment in the past 10 months..!
