Hi All
Thought I would tap into the collective wisdom on here.
Has anyone been to the Bovec region found any accommodation that could sleep 20+ people.
The 3 times I have been before the group has been <12 people so we have used apartments in Bovec.
From trawling the web I think places that can cater to 20+ people might be a thin on the ground.
Does anyone have any experiences of the campsites in that area.
Ones to avoid, best for location etc. Only ones I have seen while there were the ones on the confluence of the Koritnica / Soca which looked ok.
Thanks for any help
Cheers

Try having a word with Extreme Slovenia http://www.extremeslovenia.com
The Chalets they have are between 10-12 people each but they have loads of local knowledge and Bevan and Jo are great. If there something to meet what you need they'll be able to find it for you.
They are based around Zaga just south of Bovec.

Last time I booked I had the benefit of a brochure of accommodation from the tourist board listing hotels, hostels and apartments. Would be worth contacting them if they still offer this.

I think we stayed at Mrakic where they have several large apartments so you could book more than one. Few minutes walk from the town square.

Hi,
I hope all is well. Speak to Igor at the Prijon center he has rooms and I use them every year for my river guides when away. Great location on the bank of the Soca that runs towards Serpenica 1. Is usually a restaurant next door as well but that has been bought at the end of last season so do not know when it will be open. Thinks beds are about €12.50 a night but could probably arrange a discount if you are having the whole place.
Drop me an email if you need anything more ross.langford@llet.co.uk
Cheers

I'd highly recommend the excellent small campsite at Trnovo at the get-out of the classic Soca section and start of the "slalom course".
