Gave du Pau Guide Book

Post by Duz79 » Wed Mar 27, 2019 8:45 pm

Fellow paddlers,

I am attempting (currently to no avail) to locate and purchase a river guide book for the Gave du Pau in France.

Anyone know where I could get one?

Any signposting appreciated.

VMT.

Have you looked at http://www.eauxvives.org/fr/rivieres/voir/gave-de-pau-1.

This shows two sections one leading to Lourdes and one below Lourdes half way to Pau.

It does not show the section into Pau after the part 2 in the guide, I've paddled this and its grade 2 with one dam that I remember with a kayak pass on the left.

Not sure what paddling your looking for, its fast ish flowing but no more than grade 3 in the upper sections.

If you can't find anything browsing, maybe email them and ask?
