Glen Etive question

Post by AWetState »

Hey everyone,

I am sure this info is somewhere, but I couldn’t find it quickly myself. Anyways, I just read while sitting over here in the States, that the Glen Etive is going to be developed for hydro. Well that is a major bummer. I have wanted to kayak Scotland, and specifically that valley for years.

So, my question is, is there a timeline with the proposal? Will next Easter be too late? I really want to see it... but this year won’t happen for me...

In the meantime, I have signed a petition and shared it on my Facebook page. Fingers crossed it can help y’all.

Thanks in advance!

Easter 2019 will be fine. Easter 2020 may be a problem. The Etive itself will be unaffected so far. The tributaries will be. Hopefully the planners will see sense!
