Sweet Protection drysuits

Post by Jonathan. » Wed Jan 16, 2019 5:26 pm

Has anyone had theirs serviced?

My Sweet Intergalactic suit needs pressure testing and patching, but I’m struggling to find someone to do the work.

Up and Under who sold it to me can’t help and nor will System X who tell me they only do Kokatat; apparently, they lack the technology to service Sweet suits.

I could probably send the suit back to Sweet Protection, but they’re in Norway so that probably means slow and expensive shipping.

Advice much appreciated, please

Sea skim drysuits in Leeds will do it, also try Scottish mountain Gear as they are a certified Goretex repair centre. LSR in Burnley or Bolton? might do it as well

When I spoke to the importer of Sweet, regarding a drysuit seal replacement, to keep the warranty they advised me to get the work done at Hammond Drysuits http://www.hammond-drysuits.co.uk/
I understand they pressure test as well, so that might work for you.

Hammond will wet pressure test for around £30.
