White Water Consultancy - Technical Problems ?
Does anyone local to WWC in Wales know if they’re experiencing technical issues at the moment.
I have been trying to contact them about an outstanding order over the last two days and can’t get through to them on the phone. Their website has an “Scheduled Maintenance” banner showing (yesterday & today). Hopefully they’ll respond to an email I sent earlier ?

Not confirmed, but I’m hearing this is more than technical problems, which is very sad news.

It’s starting to look like WWC may have ceased trading, which if correct, is sad for the company and their employees that I’ve been told have been made redundant, but to leave their online ordering system live, taking money from fellow kayakers and not honouring the sale this close to Christmas is leaving a bitter taste !!

Very sad if they have ceased trading, as you say. So far as your money is concerned, if you paid by credit card, your card company may have to refund you.

Thanks Chris, PayPal should eventually sort out the refund, but it will be in their own timeframe.

I believe WWC went into
Liquidation a week or so before Xmas. Liquidators have changed the locks and installed cctv. That’s all
I know. It’s a shame that such a great shop as gone under!!

It appears that the administrators are selling everything via online auctions, deadline is 17th Feb:
(I know nothing more about this than the Facebook post)

before you get too excited about the prices, 15% buyers fee, and then 20% VAT...conoroneill wrote: ↑Sun Feb 10, 2019 3:16 pmIt appears that the administrators are selling everything via online auctions, deadline is 17th Feb:

And it looks as if you must collect on Wednesday 20 Feb so you might need to take time off work. This doesn't look like the way to maximise sale prices.
