What's your pre paddle breakfast?
Before a paddle I generally have porridge with a good dollop of honey in there, I had run out this morning so didn't bother and seriously lacked energy so obviously makes a big difference.

If away for the weekend, normally full english proceeded by cereal, toast or both if I'm seriously peckish.
There's a certain fun in shooting out of the tent as soon as its light, putting on your gear and going for a paddle :)
Also recomend the pre breakfast edit of yesterdays gopro footage!

6 medium eggs (scrambled) with a salad of 2 tomatoes, 1 pepper, 1/3 cucumber and a good serving of sriracha sauce followed by a bowl of porridge (50g oats, 250ml milk) and maybe a caffeinated drink if it's an early start.

Black coffee.
(and maybe a McDo's on the way to the boat store, if I've got time...)

Coffee and any old breafast sarnie involving eggs and bacon if it's a casual day out.
For a longer more serious day, I'd pack snacks and go with a 'two bananas, coconut oil, almond butter, almond milk and shot of espresso' smoothie for brekkie
Totes delish power smoov innit.

Re: What's your pre paddle breakfast?
I'm really crap eating first thing in the morning, and usually feel too sick to eat. Given that most rivers take me nearly 2hrs to get to with the exception of the Usk, early morning meets are therefore not my favourite thing to do! However, once my stomach has woken up, it's got to be a full English.
