Jackson Antix Demo / Info

Post by trvo » Mon Mar 06, 2017 1:18 pm

Hey guys,

I've been looking at the Jackson Antix for a while now as a replacement for my Fun. I was in agony after a 10km paddle in the Fun a little while back and wanted to hear people's opinions on the Antix as I've never seen one in the flesh. I'm particularly interested in comfort but it has to have some play in it too. My normal creeker is a Burn Mk2 Medium which I find a bit dull on 2/3.

Also, where's the best place to try one down South? I would prefer to demo on a river (Dartmoor would be nice) if possible - not a fan on man-made courses...

Cheers - Trev

Thanks, the boat isn't advertised as a demo boat but I'll give them a call in a month or two, haven't been to HPP before so it could be worth a visit.

Kent Canoes near Wrotham have a demo boat. There is also one at Lee Valley WWC.
