Any hassle with paddles on US flights?

Post by dermo99 » Sat Mar 04, 2017 4:49 pm

Has anyone has any hassle on connecting internal US flights (United, JetBlue) with paddle bags? Few heading over in coming months and trying to decide if splits might be safer bet.

Thanks!

Just got back from the US. I used a ski bag. With 'skis' inside it. I don't think KLM/Delta would have cared what was in it but I was not taking any chances.

Note you have to collect your luggage at the first airport in the US you land at. Then clear customs before your connecting flight. Stupid system.
