Camera Mounting Ideas

Post by jamesives96 » Wed Feb 01, 2017 5:47 pm

Hey,

Was wondering peoples ideas for the best place to mount a camera on a Pyranha Jed. The camera I have is a Muvi K2 npng. It's a little more bulky compared to the gopro once it's in the waterproof housing, so not sure a helmet mount would be the best. Any ideas on location and type of mount to use?

I once had a GoPro on the front of mine, facing backwards at me.

However on it's first outing I realised my mistake as I needed to deep water rescue someone........ Oops

Well the stern is underwater almost all the time (tried it with a deck mount!) so your best option is a pole mount. Jackson make one, it is not cheap though, most people cobble something up to avoid paying for one.
