Consultation on Welsh access for recreation

Post by nickcrowhurst » Wed Aug 05, 2015 6:45 pm

I'm a BMC member, and today I've received email notification of a Welsh Government consultation on improved access to recreational activities. Is this old news? I've searched this forum without success. (I usually lurk on the Sea forum.) I'm also a BCU/Canoe England member, but I can't recall any mention of this consultation. Here's the link:

See http://www.ukriversguidebook.co.uk/foru ... 3&t=119792

Quicky was on to it .... but good to see the BMC notifying members. Maybe Canoe Wales have notified members - Canoe England?
Canoeing - bigger boat, broken paddle, more skill!

Hi - British Canoeing will be submitting a response to the consultation - Canoe Wales will be submitting a separate response too. We put a post on Facebook yesterday with links to the consultation, and to the methods of replying.

We would recommend that as many paddlers who use Welsh rivers respond to the consultation to give their feedback. However, if paddlers prefer they can send their thoughts through to us too.
