Sometimes things don't go to plan.
If you would like to see how I broke my back and are semi interested into what's involved in bouncing back from an injury like this then feel free to give the video below 3 minutes of your time.

Re: Sometimes it doesn't go plan...
good on ya.
Never stop fighting.
I was am pro cycling and go crohns. totally stuffed my life up at 20 its a massive shock
I now have pernicious anemia, Axial arthritis, I dont absorb iron at all and now to add insult Im gluten intollerant. and suffer from chronic fatigue.
for years I had no energy at all but wouldn't give up.
Two years ago I took up paddling as I thought, light exersize and flat water on the canal.
that was two years ago.
Now Im paddling grade 3 confidently. I can mile crunch cycling. and have lost the podge so after 20 years of fighting I'm living again.
