Somewhere to leave the car

Post by gp.girl » Wed Feb 18, 2015 9:43 pm

Hoping to get picked up somewhere around junction 7 or 8 on the M25. I was thinking Reigate (junction 8). Any ideas for a safe place to leave the car for the weekend?
I can roll :)

Junction 7 is the M23 junction so you would have to park a long way from the junction. 8 is the A217 there is a car park on the top of Reigate Hill by the cafe and foot bridge there are also lay-bys on either side of the duel carriageway on the Lower Kingswood side. Don't be tempted to use the car park in Margery wood there have been lots of break in's there.
I'm not sure how secure your car will be over a weekend. It may be worth driving into the Margery or lower Kingswood and parking on one of the residential streets.

hope this helps.

J6 any use? I've parked just south of there a couple of times with no problems. Apart from being stranded because I had lost my keys, but that's another story entirely!
