Replacement Backband

Post by YorkieDave »

The webbing on my Dagger Super Ego backband snapped on me at the weekend. Does anybody know where i could get a suitable replacement?

Thanks

This Google / Chrome search throws up numerous possibilities. https://www.google.co.uk/webhp?sourceid ... 20backband

NE Kayaks being close to the top of the search. Or any Palm dealer. Note that I tried to buy one from RH W/sports a while ago - as I recall, they advertised it on the website but it transpired they didn't hold stock. After an infuriating and lengthy wait, I bought one elsewhere and cancelled the order.

The "elsewhere" was Joel Watersports.

XL-Burn-3 / Monstar / XPlore-X/ My Videos

A very timely post. Exactly the same happened on my Ego a couple of weekends ago at Stanley Embankment!

Dave - this is the second backrest I've gone through. The one I have at the moment & which needs replacing is an IR one although I've no idea what model. It has served me very well over the last few years. Hope that helps.

Zet ratchet back and now fitted into the Super Ego. I can now get nice and snug in there and seems to work well. I fitted large repair washers to either side of the thigh braces for additional strength.
