Hi.
I currently own and love my stomper 90 which since I started kayaking in May 2013 I've had quite a few boats.
I have a Nordcapp sea kayak also and a venture canoe.
I'm pretty competent now and although I know I'm capable of throwing a boat about when I wish I would like to do a little play boating.
I bought and owned a Molan XL but whilst I sort of fitted in it my feet were pointing inwards. I could not control it very well at all. and I spent more time upside down than anything due to a complete inability to roll it due to my position.
I'm 6 foot 4 and 16 stones (102kg) or there abouts with Size 13 feet. but long legs. My stomper 90 is just right for me but obviously not a great play boat
I don't fit in the stretch XL and our club doesn't cater for giants in the range of boats we have.
any help would be appreciated.
One last thing would be to say I have an completely limited budget
Thanks
Stu

Re: Play boating for giants
Hi mate
I'm 6'2" size 13 feet 15st and I have a 2010 jackson superstar, they are a bit longer than the newer models. I have a large happy feet in there with room to spare and I love it.
I picked mine up second hand for 300 with sweet cheeks and happy feet
Don't get me wrong after 20 min my feet are numb but like they say if you can still feel your feet after 30 min in a playboat it's not tight enough.

Re: Play boating for giants
Large Rockstar would just be right for you - Dave Wortley is 6'4" too and he, err, rocks in it! Project 64 possibly also.
Although size 13 feet might be tricky.
You could also go for a Monstar and definitely fit it, but you might be a bit limited to what you can do.
Whereabouts in the country are you?

Re: Play boating for giants
Another one suggesting a Project X 64. I'm 6ft 1 and fit a 52 but need to have the seat quite far back. Also buy happy feet and a good paid of playboater socks which should help you get more comfortable in the boat.

Same size as me. Jackson boats fit me (generally), Pyranha can be ok, Wavesport generally uncomfortable (project/fuse etc). Be prepared to take out any outfitting and maybe the thigh braces.
I also enjoy older boats S8, Super Ego etc.

Another big boy here. I have always had wavesports and thought they were very comfortable. i currently have the biggest fuse and used to have the superEZ both of which i love(d) to bits. With 100Kg+ they both play OK.
