Post by gp.girl »

The new paddlewagon and a canoe has arrived :) so operation inside is on. Don't want to wreck the interior so need a bag for my GTS Found this on ebay but has anyone got other suggestions?

Being a bit of a cheapskate here... Can't you just put some plastic sheets down to line where it will go in the car? You can still dump your wet gear inside the boat then and save space.

I got a tarp from screwfix for a fiver and sealed two sides with duck tape to create a tube. Lasted two seasons so far

Canyon Gear will make you a bag to fit your boat. You just have to send the boats measurements to them. Lovely helpful company.

Yes, couldn't resist the colour :) Its going out this weekend for a little paddle round st patricks stream, hennerton backwater and the thames so Adrian can get a bit of practice in for his L1 the weekend afterwards.

Can't use a fitted bag, this week the GTS goes in the car, next week the everest! Trying a bit of improvisation to see how it goes.

Excellent, you should (both) find it more enjoyable to paddle than the boats you have used before.
