Okay, maybe I'm biased as it's a 'local' run, but shiiiiiat… one amazing edit.

Yeah, just watched the 4 and 5 trailers. Lovin the way drones are changing paddling filming.
How does the funding work? Is it a advance order a DVD or download to give you funds to finish it – or are you just looking for donations to do it?

There's a thread about it here: http://www.ukriversguidebook.co.uk/foru ... 3&t=114718

The film will (eventually) be available for free online to everyone. (I'm not involved in the project, other than being a contributor.)

Blimey… two kayaking "Patches"!?

Thanks, yes I saw that thread.
I guess I'm just not sure how I feel about the whole crowd sourcing thing.
In essence it's "Gimme some cash for nowt and I'll make a movie". I guess I'd prefer the way others have gone with the pre-order route.
Having said that, what the hell, I'll chuck a couple of pints worth at it.

Possibly two of us, but I doubt I'm the one you know.

It's not really "cash for nowt"; I've already had a photo of my name written on the project owner's kayak, which may not seem like much but it amused me no end.

[Back to the thread title subject..]

Good video - a bit short, but at least it's all paddling footage without talking heads or gratuitous scenery ;-)

I found the cuts from Aerial footage to the blue boat's headcam very disorientating, but I suspect that's just because the headcam is pointing way too low so you don't get a view of the river ahead. The cuts to the red boat's aft-mounted camera worked fine...
