To be honest I'd given up watching paddling videos ages ago because they were just more of the same old same old, but that was different enough to keep me watching to the end. Anyone any idea how he illuminated under his boat? My guess would be tying a couple/few glow sticks under the hull, anyone got any better suggestions?

In the credits at the end he says "thanks to whoever invented LEDs" and Batteries so I'm assuming either fixed to the bottom of the boat or drilled into it??

Great video, been a long time since I last watched a paddling video all the way through.
LED's on the bottom of the boat? seems a little half way house to me, what with the new bigger river runners we could bung a sub in the back and chrome our blades, diamante grab handles?
Rum and coke, best served by the pint.

If you manage to pause it at just the right frame at 04:18 you can see some kind of grid of lights on the bottom of the boat.

This professionally shot kayak porn is all well and good, but it's so dark I can't make out any of the action.
Gimme some home-made amateur action any day.
