Any suggestions for van insurance for non commercial use? Been with Adrian Flux for a few years but had some probems this year where they no longer allowed drivers to be added for temporary periods which was handy for longer trips where a few of us shared the driving.

I moved from Adrian Flux to Brentacre and am much happier. Social, domestic and pleasure only and they're happy with modifications. Ask for Rhod and tell him Alex in Sunderland sent you.

Herts (HIC) have been good for me. Can't say if they'll add drivers temporarily but they'll do annual european cover which I struggled to find elsewhere.

Brentacre here, as said above, really helpful, good price and no modification too big.
portages are always a grade higher than the rapid.

I use Safeguard, but I have a campervan. I used NFU for my old van and probably still would if they did campervan insurance.
