Camping near Bourg?

Post by Grumpy old man »

Hi
looking to go to Bourg near the end of July (the lad is racing there) can anybody recommend a good quiet campsite for a couple of old Grumpys in a camper van. Preferably within a bike ride away from the slalom course. I expect it will be busy as it is the junior Euros slalom championships.

Thanks

Lloyd

Drive through Borg and you will come to a roundabout with a supermarket on the left, go right and there is a campsite just there on the right hand side, easy peddle to the course too.

My friends who are teachers always used to stay all summer at one on the road from BStM to Seez (and Tignes/Val D'Isere beyond). It looks like a longer walk to the WW course though.

Pretty sure its this one.

No, but we have an apartment a few minutes walk from the canoe club at Bourg if you need a roof? http://www.wyecanoes.com

Stayed at Versoyen a few times. Usually chilled and quiet there.
