Slovenia / Soca levels and weather.

Post by TwoHats » Fri May 31, 2013 1:21 pm

Off to Slovenia tomorrow for a week.
Does anyone know of an online gauge for the Soca?
And can anyone give a more reliable local weather forecast then the rather dull and dreary ones I've seen from a quick google search?
Fingers crossed and thanks in advance.

Gauge -> http://www.sloveniarafting.si/en/idrometri-on-line.aspx

Current level of 50 cumecs is a good High level - nothing scary big though.

For weather I've always found http://www.accuweather.com/en/si/bovec/ ... ast/297300 fairly reliable for the region (within 2-3 days time frame, anything past that less so)

Things were fairly high last week, all still grade 3 though. Was raining continuously, didn't seem to be much change in that any time soon. BTW you can find apartments for the same price as camping in Bovec.
