Hand Paddles

Post by Riskydave »

I've been playing about with the idea of learning how to use hand paddles - no particular reason it just seems like a fun thing to do. This will be for mucking about in playboats and gentle grade river kayaking, not squirt boating.

Would the swimming training hand paddles be suitable or are there specialist kayak hand paddles (I've seen an old advert for some but they don't seem to be on the market any more)?

TIA

Rigid swimming training ones such as those sold by lomo would work a treat.

Great minds and all that. Good luck, hand paddling is an art but makes you hyper aware of edge control
