Check the sepa gauge online, can be paddled from 0.4 but is a scrape. its at its best between 0.55 and 0.9. it mostly washes out after that with standing waves and some whirlpools in the gorge and a big hole as the river jumps over the rock at the bannana slide bit.

There are a number of trees down in the first half of the river, some of these could move down stream in high water. We had to portage one of them on an easy flat section. Beware and proceed with caution.

Notters, out.
