OTHER NOTES: Suitable for folk on a first river trip.After all the info before this statement, are you sure this is apropriate ?These Caulds (weirs) can be swampers and pin opens easily. Although they are short.I would NOT say this section is for Beginners/ first river trip.I have led down this section and would also say 4-5 hrs, even with eddy playing, is too long. It;s much shorter and you can only play at Makerstoun .
