New trees down on the Doon 28/02/09

Post by George Mcmillan » Mon Mar 02, 2009 1:14 pm

Theres a few new trees down on the Patna / Skeldon stretch of the Doon. We paddled it on Saturday 28/02/09. The trees are down in the gorge section. One of the trees is right across the river just now. g

Doug, I've only just spotted this. Not the Ness Glen section mate. Theres a good section downstream a few miles getting in at Patna and getting out at Skeldon Estate. It was tree infested until 2 years ago when we went in there with chainsaws to cut trees out the river. Theres always the risk of trees in it as the best section in it is a tree lined gorge. Needs to be stonking levels though mate. Any questions feel free matey.
