River Nith - obstruction

The Nith - tree obstruction

Just to let everyone know that there is a large tree obstructing the last drop at the start of Twist & Shout. Levels were very low today and we couldn't run the main line (had to scrape round on far river right). It was very visible today, but if the levels are a bit higher paddlers may not appreciate how many branches there are under water. The tree/branches are pointing upstream - so snagging hazard if anyone is swimming. Levels will need to be high to shift it.

Also one large trunk lodged across the river half way down Twist & Shout. Not a problem at low levels but just we aware of it.
