Tree in the Tweed

Post by Jim M » Thu May 08, 2014 7:45 pm

There's a tree limb in the water at the end of the main rapid at Makerstoun.
It's sticking up vertically at the narrow bit after the goat hole about 1m out from the edge, right in the main flow.
We paddled round it OK (and ramped up it upside down - just to check if it's safe of course) but it's an obvious hazard.
It seems stuck fast but we'll try harder to shift it next time we are there.
