After heavy rainfall, managed to catch the Allt na Reinich on New Year's Day after deciding the Roy was far too high. A pure ditch-bash but some cool features including a slide, a curling drop and a tricky boil to finish. 350m in length, around 30m descent.
Location: NN3390 on the OS map. Above the get-in for the upper section of the Roy. South side of the glen about 500m from the Glen Roy Brae lodge at the end of the tarmac road. There's a wooden bridge to a closed bothy to cross the River Roy. It's the next major trib upstream of the Allt Brunachan. The river cuts through a large alluvial fan but has steep bedrock slides above the get-in shown. There was a 12ft steep sliding drop into a constriction and then through another 10m slide above my get-in.
