New Unrecorded runs in Scotland

Post by Andy H » Tue Nov 25, 2008 4:29 pm

Hi All

Just come back from a exploration trip in Scotland and we have a 3 unrecorded runs that you may want to check out as they would make a great weekend at medium flows.

They are located in the River oykel vally about 12 miles west of Lairg

Corriemulzie River grade 4 a great tight twisting small drop river running at about grade 3/4 with a great finale rapid (4). 3km

Rappach Water 4/4+ This river reminds me of the last gorge on the River pattack but more contineous and bigger drops watch out for the notable rapid half way down grade 4+. 3km

River Einig 4(5) A cracking run every thing you want on a river from gorgy to big drops and falls highly reccomended 6km.

Full descriptions and photos will be available on www.planetpaddler.com and the SCA in a few days.

Cheers Andy
