Nice to see someone else up this way paddling the lesser known runs. The Black water is an amazing run. We first paddled it many many years ago, in the topo days and it stuck in my memory to return again but took a long time. The first time we did we were allowed to drive in. We put on right up at the lodge. As you said there's some quality white water up there. I've never ventured back up that far again, due to having to walk in. But as you can see from your pictures there are some amazing drops to be had on this run. Really worth the effort for a good day out on the river.
