We were there this weekend in low levels and the right chute down Hell Hole has a nasty looking full sized tree trunk in it lengthways. We only saw it because of a branch sticking up in the last bit of the rapid and on closer inspection saw the entire trunk lying in the chute.Take care. We went down across the ledges in the middle and river left.

Please don't park in front of the new school access gate - find alternative parking across the bridge in the village of Boughrood. Thanks!

Access/egress at Boughrood is easier than it was with an agreed access point above the bridge: OS Ref: 312878, 238494 SO129385 . "Access: There is an agreed access point river right (west bank), just upstream of the bridge, accessible down steps from a narrow lane by the bridge. Please ONLY drop-off boats here then go and park elsewhere (to avoid blocking school access or the lane). Conditions for access have been agreed between the owners and the Wye & Usk Foundation: 18 Oct-15 Mar & summer spate only - see https://wyeuskfoundation.org/navigation/usk.php for details."
